Night Parking Regulations
Alternate Side Parking Rules: Parking at night in the city is generally restricted by the street storage ordinanceA law passed by a local government. Park on the odd side of the street on odd-numbered days and the even side on even-numbered days. For instance, if it were an odd-numbered day after midnight, you would park on the odd side of the street.
This ordinanceA law passed by a local government applies Monday through Friday, between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., from April 2 to November 30. It will be in effect seven days a week from December 1 to April 1.
This ordinanceA law passed by a local government does not apply to city blocks where parking is prohibited on one entire side of the block, on holidays, on blocks where parking is restricted between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., on cul-du-sacs, or within two blocks of a “construction zone.”

Winter Parking Regulations
Seven Days a Week, Alternate Side Parking RegulationsA rule or directive made and maintained by an authority. are in effect from December 1 to April 1, except for Thanksgiving Day, December 25, and January 1.
Vehicles must park on the even-numbered address side of the street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. of an even-numbered calendar day; and on the odd-numbered side of the street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. of an odd-numbered day.
Vehicles violating these restrictions are subject to ticketing and a $30 fine.
Snow Emergencies
During declared Snow Emergencies:
- No parking is allowed on arterial and collectorOne that collects streets while the Snow Emergency is in effect; violators will be towed
- No Parking on local streets, odd/even side parking restrictions (based on the following day’s date) starts when a Snow Emergency is declared and remain in effect until 6 a.m.
